Return Policy for Repair Items

In case you have technical problems with one of our products, please follow this procedure for returning the product to us. This way we can guarantee a fast and accurate failure mode analysis (FMA) and repair or service, and subsequent return of the goods without delay. We will issue an “Return Material Authorization“ (RMA) number for you in order to allow a systematic and fast procedure.

  • Obtain an RMA# from our Customer Service for the parts being returned. Please send us the completed form: “Failure-Description - Declaration of Contamination”. We will send you the RMA number, which will be valid for 60 days.

  • Ship the products, preferably in their original packaging, mentioning the RMA# on the outside to Dr. Eberl MBE-Komponenten GmbH. Returns without an RMA# will have to be shipped back.

  • All shipments require the necessary documentation for clearance by Customs. State clearly on the customs invoice “German goods returning” and include the H.S. number* and serial number.

  • Under no circumstances should the account of Dr. Eberl MBE-Komponenten GmbH be debited for the value of the returned merchandise. Financial adjustments, if any, will only take place after inspection, evaluation and authorization by Dr. Eberl MBE-Komponenten GmbH.

  • Results of analyses of the RMA are usually available within 2 weeks.

  •  Please consider a transport insurance

* Hamonized System Number or Schedule B number: HS Code / Number is the unique number to classify individual products used to perform the declarations.
