Glossary
Stanene is a 2 dimensional material. It is composed of tin (Sn) atoms arranged in a single atomic layer. It has a hexagonal structure similar to graphene.
It is also expected to be a 2 dimensional topological insulator.
Stanene is one of the possible candidates which my exhibit dissipationless currents in edge channels at room temperature.
